The crew has set down at Novis Station a fairly large settlement on the planet Maslone.
Sylvester is left to guard the ship, a boring but necessary job. He did discover a latent telekinesis ability, though it isn't useful for anything.
Trak went sight seeing. He overheard a rumor in a bar, so that's something.
The others went to find a patron for a job. (sending three people to do this is an auto success) And Mason got himself a make-over, giving him a shiny dome and well waxed mustache.
They did find a patron, a Mutually Allied Nations Administrator named Clifton Montgomery.
This is an Extended Job, meaning two missions back to back. You get paid for each, but only if both are completed successfully.
The M.A.N. has learned that some Pirates have acquired some Ancient Technology, and they want the crew to destroy it. Then they want the crew to investigate a Dig Site, presumably to see if there are anymore artifacts the Pirates missed. Oh, and the Dig Site is probably also being investigated by others, Mercenaries most likely.
Job 1
The Pirates have the Ancient Tech here in town. They're staying in a hotel, the Tech is locked up in their shuttle parked behind the hotel.
The Pirates move around to the North side, walking along, not suspecting a thing. Mason heads for the shuttle to hack the lock but doesn't quite get there. Trak moves forward with him. Sylvester streaks across the street and the parking lot (He's insanely fast, I didn't account for that!) and ends up standing in full view of the Pirates, all of whom fail their Reaction checks. So he fires off a Lanucher shell into their midst.
The Pirates DO pass their reaction to that, so they all get to take a dodge action. The shell lands almost exactly where it should, taking one pirate out and wounding two others. The fourth isn't wounded, but panics and dives for cover behind the car. So with one shot Sylvester has effectively pinned the entire pirate gang, which is good since he wouldn't likely withstand the return fire.
The Pirates activate first and use their one action (remember, they all Dodged) to move into cover or stand back up. Mason makes it to the shuttle and starts to hack the door, he needs 4 successes, he gets 1. Trak moves to the corner and puts down some Suppression Fire on the car to keep the Pirates heads down.
It doesn't work, the Pirates ignore the fire and step out from behind the truck, one firing a shot at Sylvester, but missing. the other firing off his Launcher and missing. The shell impacts the Hotel instead. The Pirate leader takes off and makes his way around the other side of the building.
Kazoc Ran up to cover behind the truck. Trak opened up on the bazooka Pirate, scoring a wound and forcing him to dive for cover. Mason recognized that he needed help, so yelled out "Hey Cottontail, get over here!"
Sylvester reloaded, then moved to assist with the shuttle lock, completing two more sequences while muttering "I don't know what a Cottontail is, but don't call me that again". Mason then managed to complete the unlock, opening the door. Minnie moved to a covered position behind the shuttle, covering the two hackers.
And then another guy showed up. Apparently drawn by the battle sounds the truck driver, an assault rifle armed Moekian, emerges from his truck. He's not sure what is going on...

The Pirates emerge from the hotel front. They need to go around back, enter the shuttle, and escape. Unfortunately for them, there's an accident in town. A truck has over turned in the road. Local LEO droids are deployed to keep away looters and control traffic, they don't care about much else.
However, the Pirates will need "clearance" from the LEO droid before taking off, or they'll get shot down. The crew approaches from the opposite side.

The Rifle Pirate fires a round that wounds Trak, and scared the crap out of him, dropping his determination die. However, he's also a True Believer, so the panic result turns into a forward charge in an attempt to physically throttle the pirate. He didn't get far enough.
On the other side of the building, the Pirate leader climbed up on the overturned tractor trailer to get an elevated shot, but Minnie saw him. She was able to React, and dropped him with a single pistol shot at extreme range.
The shuttle door now open, Mason and Sylvester did a cursory check for anything useful, but found nothing. so Sylvester unloaded his launcher into the open shuttle. They had no idea what sort of Ancient Tech was in there,and didn't much care, but it sure as hell isn't there anymore!
Their prize and shuttle destroyed, their leader apparently dead, and that other guy bleeding our next to them, the remaining pirates didn't see any reason to stick around so fled the board.
Mission successful!
Outcome: Mission Successful. The Ancient Technology was destroyed.
Crew: Trak has a minor wound, but nothing important.
Pirates: The leader died from his wounds, the red suited guy will live, but he's out of action for a while.
This was my first game in the campaign, I really liked it. The In-Mission random events are pretty neat, and add to the game in my opinion. I forgot stuff, like always. Like I forgot people could run until the third turn, but that happens.
I liked the generated scenario, and the narrative parts. This is very cool.
Next time, the second Job. Investigate the Dig Site!
